In Kakamigahara City, LP gas cylinders (propane gas cylinders) are treated as items the city cannot process. Contact the retailer (LP gas supplier) to request disposal. If the purchase source is unknown, do not dispose of it carelessly; consult your nearest fire station or the prefectural LP Gas Association. For household cassette cylinders (tabletop), completely use up the contents. In a well-ventilated outdoor area, ensure there are no open flames, then release the gas until the hissing sound stops. Afterward, puncture the can body and dispose of it as a metal can on the monthly designated waste collection day. Spray cans should also be emptied completely, punctured, and disposed of as cans. Precautions: Ensure no one is nearby during this process. Avoid spraying on your face or clothing. If the contents are difficult to vaporize, spray them onto a cloth or paper to use them up completely before puncturing.
