Propane Gas Cylinders: Not collected by the city. Contact a waste disposal company, the store where you purchased it, or the retailer (the city does not collect these). Examples of waste disposal companies within the city and their phone numbers are listed. Small Gas Cylinders (for portable gas, lighters, etc.): Classified as difficult-to-crush recyclables or hazardous waste. Use up the gas completely before placing them in the yellow container at the garbage station (no need to puncture). For drop-off, take to the Recycling Plaza or Eco Land. Cassette gas cylinders: Classified as non-crushable recyclable waste or hazardous waste. Empty completely before placing in the yellow container at the garbage station. For drop-off, take to the Recycling Plaza (18 Otsugiku, Akamatsu-cho) or Eco Land (111-1 Higashimuki, Akamatsu-cho). Important Notes: Disposal methods vary depending on the contents of the cylinder. Either use it completely before disposal or consult a waste disposal company. For items not processed by the city, arrange disposal through a company or other service.
