I attempted to access the detailed disposal method page for gas cylinders on the Kanuma City official website, but the page auto-extraction timed out, and I was unable to extract links from the PDF search results on the screen. Generally, for cassette cylinders (small, disposable cylinders), you should completely use up the contents. Whether or not to puncture them depends on each municipality's latest rules, and they may be placed out on resource waste or hazardous waste collection days. Propane and other LP gas cylinders (reusable large containers) should generally not be placed out for municipal collection. Contact the retailer (supplier) or various collection points instead. As Kanuma City's official handling procedures require confirmation, please check the gas cylinder information listed in Kanuma City's environmental pages under "How to Sort and Dispose of Household Waste" or in the Resources and Waste Guide (booklet/PDF) if available.
